What we do

Cinematic Storytelling. This is our number one focus. Telling the story of your love and your wedding with the best cinematic footage captured from your beautiful day. Each wedding is different and we focus on what is most important for you and create a film around that.

Operating all over Southern California, Kevin Bernes is a cinematographer that specializes in Luxury weddings. With a classic, elegant and cinematic approach he will capture every heartwarming moment, from the laughter to the tears. Kevin strives to make you and your partner comfortable in front of the camera with his friendly demeanor and creative vision. All to the end of a cinematic wedding film which you will have forever. 

Kevin works with only the best equipment including cameras, that are even approved for Netflix. Ensuring that you will receive a high-quality wedding film. Additional hours and multiple locations can be included, allowing Kevin to further document your event. From the pre-ceremony nerves to the first dance, he will video it all so you can relive those moments over again.

My Process

Your wedding is the most important day of your life, and I do not take that lightly. I only book around 30 weddings a year in order to make sure that each wedding film receives the proper care and attention it deserves. Your wedding will be beautiful, and my goal is to make your wedding film even better.

Hello I'm Kevin

Starting at a young age I always had a video camera in my hand - and growing up in the 90’s that was much less common than it is today. Over the course of 18 years I had the opportunity to produce over 1000 events and travel all over the world. During my free time I would pursue my love of filmmaking. I studied an online film school to take my hobby of filmmaking to a professional level. After filming my first wedding in 2018 I was hooked. I loved capturing the emotion and one of a kind experiences. It's the most rewarding work I’ve done because I capture moments that last a lifetime. Receiving feedback from clients about how my work brings them back to their special day is what keeps me going.

Yes, my films have a certain style, but each one is crafted to capture my couple's personalities, their style, and to tell their story. You may find yourself either very engaged in one of my films or not so much. This is a good thing! After all, if I’m creating films specifically catered to each couple, you are going to gravitate to the ones where the couple and the vibe are most like you. I also don’t film for a predetermined edit but rather I tend to shoot a lot more footage so I have a huge amount of footage work with in the editing studio. Enjoy watching!

Frequently Asked Questions

Kevin will be filming your wedding personally. And all packages except for the Bronze package he will also bring an experienced second videographer with him as a second camera person. 

My Cinematic Highlight films are 7 -10 minutes

Engagement Films are 2 minutes

Social Media Trailer films are 1 minute

Full Ceremony Films are 15 – 70 minutes (However long your ceremony was)

Toasts and Speeches Film is 10 – 40 minutes (However long your toasts and speeches went)

In the Bronze package the Highlight Film is 2-5 minutes

We license all music through two sites called SoundStripe and MusicBed. Due to copyright reasons, we don’t take music requests. We promise to find songs that elevate your love and personality through the film. However – always tell us if there’s a song you NEED and we’ll see if we can acquire the licensing rights for your film.

All of my films are guaranteed to be delivered in 4K resolution.

This is based on the package that you selected.

Diamond, you receive your completed films in 6 weeks from the wedding day

Gold, you receive your completed films in 7 weeks from the wedding day.

Silver, you receive your completed films in 9 weeks from the wedding day.

Bronze you receive your completed films in 10 weeks from the wedding day.

I create a personal website for your film or films to be hosted on with a service called VidFlow. You can download from this site as well as stream in 4K on any computer, tablet or mobile phone, and even connect to your smart TV through the VidFlow app for showings on the big screen. 

Yes, we have full business liability insurance for $2M per incident and $4M aggregate – including drone insurance. If your venue requires a Certificate Of Insurance (COI) we can email them a copy, and to your wedding planner.

Fill out my wedding film questionnaire and within 24 hours I will give you a call, if your wedding date is available we will set up a time for a zoom video call. I will ensure I understand your full vision for your wedding film. This is where I listen to your story and desires for your films. 

If you feel we are a good match to film your wedding, then you select the package that works best for you. I will send you the contract that includes that package. You fill it out online and pay a 25% retainer deposit. 

Each retainer deposit is minimally 25% of the package you select. We accept all major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, or Check in the mail for this deposit. When your payment is received along with your signed contract your wedding is now officially booked and the date saved.

The final payment is due 1 week before your wedding. We prefer Zelle or Venmo since they have no finance charges.
